Riley Racks Up Three Major Endorsements
This weekend, the Chris Riley Campaign picked up three key endorsements in our campaign for Place 1. The Central Austin Democrats and University Democrats voted by wide margins in favor of endorsing Chris Riley for Place 1. These organizations, two of the largest and most active in Austin, combine to form the Austin Progressive Coalition. This group will work actively to get the vote out for Riley and their other endorsed candidates across our city.
“I’m thrilled to receive the endorsements of the Central Austin Democrats and University Democrats,” stated Riley. “As a long-time resident of central Austin and alumnus of the University of Texas, I feel a strong connection to both groups.” Riley spoke during the organizations’ forum about his plans for transportation improvements, and how he offers practical solutions to the serious challenges facing people across Austin.
Riley has been endorsed by diverse organizations across the city of Austin, demonstrating the broadening support behind his campaign for Place 1.
