On Monday night, Austin’s North by Northwest Democratic club endorsed Chris Riley for Austin City Council Place 1 at their monthly meeting. Riley took questions from club members about his background as Chair of the Planning Commission, and spoke in great detail about the transportation and environmental concerns of northwest and north central Austin.

“I’m pleased to win this endorsement,” stated Riley. “This demonstrates a continued broadening of support for my message of practical solutions to the serious challenges facing Austin.”

North by Northwest Democrats join multiple other local clubs in endorsing Riley, including the Circle C Area Democrats, West Austin Democrats, and Capital City Young Democrats.
